When was the last time you saw a good movie' Now, I'm not talking about some cheesy cookie-cutter film or absurd re-make. I'm talking about something new and original. These are difficult to find now days. In fact, we hardly find them at all. We more or less stumble across them if we're lucky. When I think about it, the last good picture I watched was "A History of Violence." This was certainly an original piece with some good screenwriting backing it up. Forget the special effects and gore. This was a clever film with real heart. And that's what is too often missing on the big screen these days. Well, regardless of what films or genres tickle your fancy, one thing is for sure. You will encounter a blockbuster movie on every corner. This gargantuan chain has taken over the United states and made sure that every citizen is able to rent a blockbuster movie.
The last time I rented a blockbuster movie, it was probably "The 40 Year Old Virgin." This was indeed a hysterical film that was well written and casted. If you're looking for a great adult comedy and haven't already seen it, then I suggest you check it out. However, avoid watching it with the little ones running around. This is clearly one intended for adults. When you're headed out to pick up a blockbuster movie and a pizza, what are you typically searching for' Blockbuster definitely seems to have it all. From Comedy, to Drama, to Horror, Action, and Classics; Blockbuster Video has it covered. The great thing about this chain is the quantity. I know we all typically hear that quality is better than quantity, but let's discard that notion for a moment. It's easy to see that Blockbuster carries a variety of wonderful films; but in addition, they also offer numerous copies of each title. This is sadly what's lacking from the Mom and Pop stores.
