Ryan Reynolds has been filmed sporting a lovely pink Deadpool suit which he will be auctioning off to raise money for a cancer charity.
As part of a ‘f*ck cancer’ campaign, the superhero released a video showing him lounging around in the pink suit directing fans to Omaze where you donate to win.
In the clip Deadpool says: “What you do from there is only limited by your imagination.
“Will you add it to your weekly wardrobe rotation? Will it become a colorful addition to your S&M dungeon?
“Or will you simply nail it to a post in order to scare away birds, children and the elderly?”
If you want to donate and have a go at winning the suit you can click here.
For $25 you’ll get 250 entries into the competition, for $50 you’ll get 1,000.
If you’re feeling generous, a $1,500 donation will get you 15,000 entries and a signed DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack or for $5,000 you’ll get 50,000 entries and a personalized voicemail message from Deadpool.
This isn’t the first time Ryan has shown off his softer side, last year, he invited some seriously ill children on to the set of Deadpool 2 – he also managed to shut down a troll spectacularly while doing it, because he’s Ryan Reynolds and that’s what he does.
One of the best parts of playing the Big Red Jackass is welcoming @makeawishamerica and @childrenswishfoundation onto set. Deadpool kicked Cancer in the taint, but these kids do it for real every day. These foundations make dreams come true for a lot of of super-brave kids. They also make dreams come true for parents, who just wanna see their kid smile. HUGE thanks to our Prop Master, Dan Sissons, for making sure every kid left with his/her own sword. (Bamboo versions. Not stabby-stabby versions.) 🇨🇦⚔
The actor shared photos of him with kids from the Make-A-Wish and Children’s Wish foundations with the caption: “Deadpool kicked cancer in the taint, but these kids do it for real every day.
“These foundations make dreams come true for a lot of super-brave kids. They also make dreams come true for parents, who just wanna see their kid smile.”
But there’s always one troll who has to pipe up, isn’t there? And this case it was a fella who asked: “Guys Deadpool is R rated movie and those kids are watching it… I think something is wrong here…”
To which Reynolds responded: “Yup. Deadpool is Rated R. If my kid went through a fraction of the shit these kids deal with daily, I think they can watch whatever they like. That’s just my .02 cents.” Well said.
