Unfortunate news for Meghan Trainor as she has had to cancel shows for the time being and put her tour on hold.
According to her Instagram, and a very sweet video she left for her fans, she writes “I don’t want anyone worrying, but I have had a hemorrhage on my vocal chords. Right now, the doctors want me on complete vocal rest until they are healed so I have to postpone my first two shows in Atlantic City and Connecticut. I promise that I will make it up to my Megatronz. I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me. I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this amazing tour we’ve been working on.”
Similarly, Sam Smith had the same issue with hemorrhaged vocal cords and even had to undergo surgery which left him without the ability to speak temporarily.
Trainor has had at least two shows cancelled as of this moment, but she insists fans don’t panic and lets them know she’ll be back as soon as possible. Wishing Meghan a speedy recovery!
